What is the 2008 Pioneer Card?
The 2008 Pioneer card is intended to acknowledge and recognize Members’ commitment to volunteering as a Pioneer and help promote retention among current Members. It is also helps promote awareness about the benefit rewards of being a Pioneer Member.

Who receives a 2008 Pioneer Card?
All 620,000 Pioneers (including Life and Regular Members) will receive a 2008 Pioneer Card. When new Members join the Pioneers during the course of the year, they will be issued a Pioneer Card from the TelecomPioneers. These will be run by TelecomPioneers headquarters on a monthly or quarterly basis.
When are 2008 Pioneer Cards mailed?
Since TelecomPioneers is a not-for-profit charity, the 2008 Pioneer card is being mailed in two phases in an effort to mail as cost effectively as possible. The first phase of cards mailed in a window envelope on November 19, 2007. The second and final phase of cards will be delivered in the January issue of the PioneerPress newsletter which mails January 7, 2008.
Will a new Pioneer Card be issued each year?
Yes. The plan presently is to issue a new card annually at the start of each year.
Does my 2008 Pioneer Card entitle me to any benefits?
Yes! TelecomPioneers headquarters is proud to be able to offer our Members exclusive Pioneer discounts and opportunities including the Pioneers Home Financing Program, savings on already competitive rates for home and auto insurance and much more. You can also sign up for regular benefit emails which will keep you up-to-date on all the rewards and savings you receive as Pioneer. Simply provide your email address to the Member Resource Center. Do I need to present my 2008 Pioneer Card to take advantage of these benefits? No. Many of our benefit providers have dedicated websites and toll free numbers which you can access through links at www.telecompioneers.org or by calling the Member Resource Center toll free at 800-976-1914. For most providers, simply identifying yourself as a Pioneer will give you access to the benefit. Is there any information on Pioneer Member benefits in hard copy that I can receive? Yes. What if I need a replacement 2008 Pioneer Card? Simply email Pioneer headquarters at info@telecompioneers.org or call the Member Resource Center toll free at 800-976-1914. Please provide your full name, address, the Pioneer group you belong to, a Member id # and a contact phone number we can reach you at if we need to reconfirm this information. Batches of replacement cards will be issued from Pioneer headquarters in February, June and the Fall monthly depending on the volume required. What if I have a question not addressed here?
